Here's what's real.
Writing copy for most people is as bad as going to the dentist to get a throbbing and excruciatingly painful cavity -- mercifully drilled and expensively filled!
Just take a moment now... and put yourself in this picture...
You endlessly procrastinating... Finding reasons for putting off trying to write your own copy. Daily agonizing over it. Dreading editing it -- until it hurts so much you can't stand it anymore!... (just like your throbbing toothache)... maybe to you, trying to write your own copy -- makes you feel so ill -- its like there is something horribly wrong with you -- and it feels like this...
1) It HURTS LIKE THE DICKENS while you are thinking about going to do it...

I'm NOT going to give you one of those sleazy sales pitches that tells you, "I'll write copy that will make you millions!"
Nope. I'm serious. I'm honest. I stick by my word. And I lay it all on the line for you. No tricks and no fancy crap -- no smoozing either. Because... here's the awful truth.
If your product smells to high heaven, then the best copywriter in the world can't make it smell good or make it sell.
To be honest with you. I can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, or a boar's either.

Most of the 'pro copywriters' (you know the ones that charge you tens of thousands of dollars for a sales letter or video script) don't write their own stuff. They hire copy cubs to write your sales letter, then the pro copywriter does a few edits and calls it 'done' and ships if off to you!
Funny how most folks don't know that. (...and maybe you didn't know that either).
And when you do hire a pro copywriter how the heck do you know if they DO that?
You don't.
In fact if you don't get them to sign an NDA and non-resale clause, they can even resell your sales letter to your competition (with minor changes of course!)
It's happened to my clients -- they won't mention names but they came to me angry and frustrated when that happened to them!
Now I write my own stuff and stand by it. And I promise I won't sell your copy to anyone else either.
Enough said.
Now take a moment to think about it...
"So can you afford
to have a top copywriter write your copy?"
I hope you are thinking long and hard about this... especially in light of what I have just revealed to you.
The problem is this...
I have many wanna-be copywriters call me.
They whine about how their copy doesn't make any sales. They want me to wave a magic wand -- and instantly fix it. Well, sorry... But I don't have a magic wand. And nope, I won't fix it. Not if your copy is really stinky. If it's so bad it's just laying there (no sales). Then there's no life left in it.
I can't work with you in good conscience and give it CPR and revive it. Not when it is 'brain dead'. The best and most humane thing to do is -- put it out of its misery.
Best to bury it. Say a few nice words over it and have a good funeral for it. And start OVER!
I'm serious here.
This is NOT a laughing matter.
I have had clients plead with me to
'give CPR to a dead or nearly dead sales letter'. I'm not a miracle worker. If
it's already terminal -- its best to let it die a peaceful death. Your business
will thank you for it. I will thank you for it.

Once you hone in on those 'hidden reasons people buy' -- you know, the ones they don't want to admit they have that's getting them to click the buy button -- then getting that darn buy button clicked -- well that's simple!
Remember what you THINK is the reason that people buy may have NOTHING to do with their needing/buying your product. Instead its all about their WANTING to buy your product on a deep emotional level. We nail their emotions to the wall and they'll whip out their credit cards and buy.
One last thing...
Please understand the importance of
the fact...
The single worst mistake you can make...
Hire a copywriter without a proven record.
Or heaven forbid -- you force yourself to write it yourself!
Be honest with yourself. You've thought about taking a stab at writing your own copy, haven't you?
Why go through all that pain and anguish? When you don't have to force yourself to write copy -- not when you know I'm here.
